fun. have extended their lead on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'We Are Young'.The track - which features Janelle Monae - fends off competition from Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger' and The Wanted's 'Glad You Came', which remain at spots two and three respectively.

Elsewhere, Gotye and Kimbra ascend five to four with 'Somebody That I Used To Know', Nicki Minaj climbs six to five with 'Starships', and Flo Rida jumps nine to seven with 'Wild Ones'.
Further down the chart, One Direction vault 19 to 11 with 'What Makes You Beautiful', Calvin Harris advances 18 to 15 with 'Feel So Close', and Taylor Swift debuts at 19 with 'Eyes Open'.
Rihanna and Chris Brown's 'Birthday Cake' leaps 39 to 34, Usher reaches a new peak of 40 with 'Climax', and Alex Clare lands at 68 with 'Too Close'.
Maroon 5 and Rozzi Crane start at 83 with 'Come Away To The Water', and Drake's 'Crew Love' is at 100.

Agreed,least it's not another tenapenny,autotuned-electro-pop-dance collaboration.This will be one of the biggest hits of 2012... and a good one at that.

The release date for 'We Are Young' is the 14th of May :)

Still no UK release date for 'We are young'. Typical that an anthemic pop tune that's huge in the U.S. & Australia is held back from British downloaders.Why the delay?
