Whitney Houston, DJ Fresh, Emeli Sandé dominate midweek charts

DJ Fresh is on course to claim his second number one single.The producer's hook-up with Rita Ora, titled 'Hot Right Now', has landed at number one on this week's midweek chart, while Emeli Sandé is at two with 'Next To Me'.

Gotye falls to number three with 'Somebody That I Used To Know', David Guetta slips to four with 'Titanium' and Flo Rida advances to five with 'Wild Ones'.
One Direction move up 18 places to eight with their latest single 'One Thing', while will.i.am falls six places to nine with 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)'.
Whitney Houston dominates the chart following her tragic death on February 11. 'I Will Always Love You' sits at number 10, while '80s classic 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' shoots up to number 14.
The star's popular power ballad 'One Moment In Time' is at 29, 'My Love Is Your Love' is at 30 and 'I Have Nothing' is at number 34.
Meanwhile, Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' re-enters the chart at number 40 following her performance at Sunday night's (February 12) Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Emeli Sandé is on course to claim the album chart top spot with her debut record Our Version Of Events, pushing Lana Del Rey's Born To Die down to two.

Hope Emeli Sande or Gotye climb to number 1- well back to in gotye case looking at the chart update, miles better than DJ Fresh! Kinda surprised Whitney Houston isn't any higher than 10 to be honest.

Nicholas Callaghan I think you are confusing the US pre-orders with the UK pre-orders. If the OCC are saying its 18k, then that is the amount.

Ian Mulvaney I got it from itunes pre-orders of the album, who immediately got the song downloaded as a single at the same time as pre-ordering the album 140,000ish in 2 days..
