Example: 'My new album is The Strokes produced by Skrillex'

Example has revealed that his new album will contain more rock elements.The rapper is currently working on the follow-up to his third studio album Playing In The Shadows, which reached number one on the UK chart back in September.

Asked by NME what his new material will sound like, he responded: "The Strokes produced by Skrillex, or The Strokes produced by Chase & Status."
Example added that his lyrics would focus on "gangstas and hoes", insisting: "I've learned that's not what I should sing about, that's not what every young boy wants to hear in music."
He continued: "I would rather sing about cocaine than being inside someone's muff. Cocaine doesn't really offend anyone. But being inside the muff does."
Example recently added extra dates to his 2012 arena tour after experiencing high demand for the initial run of concerts.

Great singles released but albums as whole tend to be repetitive and boring.
