Madonna to perform at 2012 Super Bowl

Madonna has been confirmed as the halftime act at next year's Super Bowl.The Grammy Award-winning entertainer was announced tonight (December 4) as the main performer at the annual sports event by NBC.
It was first rumoured that Madonna would be performing at the Super Bowl in October.

According to the official press release, her performance will be 'imagined' by Cirque du Soleil, choreographer Jamie King and multimedia artists Moment Factory.
The Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event of the year in the US, with over 162 million viewers tuning in to watch last year's performance by the Black Eyed Peas.
Other past acts at the event include The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Tom Petty, Paul McCartney and U2.
Madonna is currently working on her new album for release next year, while her latest film W.E will open in the US on February 3.
Super Bowl XLVI takes place on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis.

as generic as can be... I'm sure her album will include collaborations by Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Drake , David Guetta & other generic acts... she has lost her credibility since 'Confessions' by trying to sell records at any price instead of being creative....

Stephen John Brownlow Yeah they will be different mixes i think. Also to experment by having more left-of-centre hits like Rain, Deeper & Deeper, get together may be a risk for such wide mainstream audiences for the Super Bowl so i think those hits may be the ones that she should go for, add some new touches and Madonna performing the heck out of them!!! woo. And yes next year...i mean what a way to kick it off, and loads of promo concerts, Olympics, events, interviews...daymn!

I hope your right on a few of thoses, but she always does thoses songs except Into The Groove but i imagine she will do something amazing like she always does on her tours 2012 is gonna be a great kiss ass year for Madonna :)
