Frontman Justin Young told NME: "We're still finding playing the first record really fulfilling – it only came out six or seven months ago – but of course you're always writing songs and thinking about the future. We've started work on new songs."
He added: "Guitar bands in particular seem to get in the habit of making the same record over and over again, and I think we're really keen to avoid that.
"It's the natural thing to do, isn't it? 'What did people find attractive in us first time round? Oh, better not lose that then'."
Young concluded: "I'm sure that deep down there's an element of that in all of us, but ultimately you start making music for yourself, so you've got to keep continue making music for yourself."
