and Kasabian have announced plans to play one-off university shows later this month.
The bands have both been confirmed to take part in this year's BBC Radio 1 Student Tour, which kicks off on October 24.
The first stop of the tour, which will be hosted by Zane Lowe, will be Aberdeen on October 24, where Noah and the Whale will headline with support from Ben Howard.
Example will play the University of Hertfordshire on October 25, with an opening performance from Flux Pavilion.
Kasabian will play new material from their recent chart-topping album Velociraptor!
at the University of Leicester on October 26.
The tour will conclude with a headline performance from Coldplay in support of their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto
on October 27 at the University of East Anglia.
Fearne Cotton will present her 10am morning show from each university's student bar in the build-up to the evening's performance.
Tickets for the shows will be priced at £20 and will go on sale on October 15.
They will have to be bought in person from each university and will reinforce an identity and wristband system to prevent ticket touting.> Coldplay's Chris Martin: 'We don't care about staying relevant' - video
