Speaking to ES magazine, the former Oasis singer claimed that smokers have been mistreated by the state since the law came into fruition in 2007.
The High Flying Birds singer said that he believes Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, should overturn the ban.
Gallagher exclaimed: "Abolish the smoking ban. I've smoked since I was a teenager and now poor souls like me have to stand outside.
"What really annoys me is that in the winter we're all outside shivering, with all the squares inside, and then in the summer the squares come outside and it's like, 'This is for smokers, get back inside with your Birkenstocks'."
Gallagher this week said that he hopes his recent fall out with brother Liam will be healed.

Since the smoking ban pubs have become far more unhealthy. Most pubs used to have ventilation systems but most have been removed to save money. This leaves all the carcinogenic alcohol fumes and cooking fumes inside the pubs.

shut up noel- if I fart in your face, you would say it's unacceptable - but when you puff smoke out of your dirty lungs into the air that I breathe, then it's ok? ignorant

*yawn* does ANYONE care what this guy says anymore? It's like John Lydon saying how much he hates Green Day. No one gives a crap.

I'm a smoker and I agree with the ban I chose to smoke you didn't so I'll happily go outside (any way its a nice escape from the noise lol) what I don't like is then non smokers coming outside and bemoaning the fact that we're all outside smoking seriously that really irritates me.

There's a very simple solution to that - don't smoke when you're at the pub!
