Ronson lands Santigold, Dennis for LP

Mark Ronson has revealed that he is working with Santigold, Dave McCabe from the Zutons and Cathy Dennis on his new album.

The producer, who recorded other artists' songs for his 2007 LP Version, claimed that the new record will be completely different from his previous material.

"There's no covers, and no horns. It's written with some of the people that actually wrote the songs I covered on the last album and that I didn't actually even know at the time," he told NME.

"It's quite interesting to write songs from scratch with those people, like Dave who wrote 'Valerie'."

Further collaborators include the Scissor Sisters, rapper Pill and Miike Snow.

Ronson revealed that the album will be released "probably May, June depends how quick I can get it done".
