Leonard Cohen to play Liverpool gig

The Canadian singer-songwriter will play the concert at the city's Echo Arena on July 14.
Chas Cole from CMP told the Livepool Echo: "It's taken months of negotiating and right up to the last couple of days it's been touch and go, but we are really happy to bring another great star to Liverpool."
Cohen releases Live In London on March 31, with the double concert album featuring performances of career-spanning songs from last year's shows in the capital.
Other bands booked to play this year's Summer Pops event include Scottish act Simple Minds.
