Simple Minds announce UK dates

Scottish rock band Simple Minds have announced the dates of a tour in support of upcoming new album Graffiti Soul.

The band have pledged to play a number of their greatest hits including 'Alive and Kicking' and 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' alongside tracks from their 15th studio effort, which will be released on May 25.

UK tour dates announced so far are as follows:

• July 17 - Norwich, Blicking Hall


• July 18 - Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle


• July 21 - Liverpool, Liverpool Echo Arena (Summer Pops Festival)
