Alexandra Burke interview: "I've taken a lot of risks with this album"

We may have had an extended wait for it, but Alexandra Burke's second studio album Heartbreak on Hold is officially released next week.
With the LP's second cut 'Let It Go' out today (May 28), we sat down with the star to find out what else we can expect from the set and whether a second headline tour is in the works.
Watch what she had to say below:

Risks?? What risks? You've recorded an album of generic euro dance that pretty much everyone is doing at the moment. And judging by the really weak midweek position of Let It Go...it's gonna be a mahoosive flop.

I must admit the first two singles have left me a bit cold compared to first album! I don't think 90s dance is especially something I want to see recreated. It's a bit of a waste of her voice and a missed opportunity to have some decent songs! Lets hope the album had more heart and soul to offer! I don't see this album working but good feeling that the third album will get over this blip I see coming! Need more songs and less bleeps and auto tuning!
