Skyfall's international debut has broken box office records.Grossing £48.4 million ($77.7 million) two weeks before its US debut, the James Bond film has broken the UK Saturday attendance record, reports Collider.

It took a total of £20.2 million ($32.4 million) in the UK since its opening on Friday, October 26, making it the second-biggest opening in the country's box office history behind the 3D Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.
The achievement has been deemed especially impressive considering the film does not enjoy the higher prices of 3D movies.
Skyfall screenwriter John Logan has signed up to provide the scripts for the next two James Bond instalments based on the strength of the movie's opening.
The Sam Mendes-directed film, which stars Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench, Javier Bardem and Bérénice Marlohe, will debut in the US on Friday November 9.

QofS better than CR?? Ha ok whatever, i'm just glad I have taste and can tell a good film from a bad one.

People always moan about QOS but I thought it was better than CR. It had balls to the wall action and it felt like Bond to me. Goldeneye is overrated. Brosnan was a pretender in a tuxedo, Sean Bean as a bad guy? haha. Onatopp was the best thing about it as she bought a sense of camp which is classic for Bond. CR is okay but it was generally quite "flat." QOS is unfairly criticised. And before anybody says it....I could make out the action scenes despite the quick cut edits. Oh, and the Bond villain was awesome...those eyes! Anyway, Skyfall is the best DC 007 yet.

QoS was abysmal. Casino Royale lacked the elements of fun from the previous movies and was a clunky transition. Skyfall is the perfect blend of old and new James. It has humour. It has girls. It has action. It has emotion. It's the best 007 movie since Goldeneye

Finally Seen Skyfall.... it's OK
The action, acting, writing and direction are absolutely superb. So what's the problem?
It;s not enough of a Bond Film... sdtrip away James Bond and it's a 'standard' spy thriller - albeit excellently executed. It lacked the panache, the style and yes, some gadgets which we expect of a Bond Film.
Also the [secondary] ending was evident from a long way out... There's only two reasons why Ralph Fiennes would be involved... and once you decide he's a good guy, the ending hoves into view.
So only a 4 out of 5... Not unlike Dalton's James Bond really - although much much better quality in all aspects of course. Casino Royale rocks - still... but looking forward to the next one

Quantum of Solace was alright. It's been unfairly derided I think.
Skyfall on the other hand was absolutely fantastic! Best Bond film of all in my opinion.
