'Man of Steel' will be remarkable, says Christopher Nolan - video

Christopher Nolan has offered his early impressions on The Man of Steel.

The Dark Knight Rises director, who is producing the Superman reboot, told Digital Spy that director Zack Snyder and lead actor Henry Cavill are going to make a "remarkable impression" on audiences.


Cavill will star as Clark Kent and his Kryptonian alter ego in the movie, opposite Michael Shannon's General Zod. Amy Adams is portraying Lois Lane, with Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane among the supporting cast.

Warner Bros recently announced plans for a blockbuster Justice League film, sparking rumours that Man of Steel could tie in, with Cavill reprising his role for the superhero team-up.

A new poster for the movie debuted at Comic-Con International last week.

The Man of Steel will debut in US and UK cinemas on June 14, 2013.
