Jane said: "I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle and his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it.
"It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish - we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it."
Jane became the second actor to star as the Punisher on the big screen in 2004, following in the footsteps of Dolph Lundgren. Ray Stevenson portrayed the anti-hero in 2008's Punisher: War Zone.
Marvel Studios has now reclaimed the rights to the character but is yet to announce any future projects.

And it was sooo much better than the sequel, 'Warzone'. This just hits home how good he actually is as Frank Castle and he should do either another follow up or some short films/t.v show
