'Daredevil' movie: Director David Slade departs

David Slade has departed Daredevil.A schedule conflict with the filming of his NBC pilot Hannibal has forced the Twilight Saga: Eclipse director to drop out of the 20th Century Fox movie reboot, reports Deadline.

The studio must put the film into production by the autumn or risk the rights to the superhero adaptation reverting to Marvel Studios/Disney.
Fox is said to be happy with its script, which is believed to be based on Frank Miller's classic 'Born Again' storyline.
A comment by Slade on Twitter briefly sparked rumours that his 30 Days of Night star Josh Harnett could play Matt Murdock in the film. These rumours were swiftly denied.
Chronicle director Josh Trank has been officially announced to be directing a Fantastic Four reboot for Fox.









This is utter nonsense, they're not making these films because they want to, its simply to hold onto the rights. Can't stand FOX
