In an interview with Ain't It Cool News, the actor confirmed that the arcane character is not Norman Osborn, as some have suggested.
"A representative from OsCorp appears miraculously in the room. How he gets in there and how he leaves, we don't know. Maybe we will find out. But it's not Norman Osborn," he said.
"But it is someone who is in the employ of Norman Osborn without question," he added. "Maybe he will be the next bad guy; we'll see."
The Amazing Spider-Man is the first chapter in a trilogy of films featuring the Marvel Comics hero. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are expected to reprise their respective roles of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy for the next instalment.
Marc Webb's rebooted take on the arachnid superhero has already broken box office records in the US.

I did wonder if it was The Shocker, bearing the long hair and set in a prison cell where he usually wounds in and out of. Who knows, but as much as Oscorp is important to generate villains, so is the Prison - what with Shocker.... and Carnage's origin....

I hope he's not the main villain of the next film, he was a very hammy character.

Kinda reminded me of the villain behind the screen in Police Academy 6.
Yep obscure I know but you may see/hear it too.

Doctor Octopus. In the Ultimate Comics he was employed by Oscorp. Set a new version of Doc Ock as one of the villains in the next one with a final showdown with the Goblin in the third thus bringing us full circle
