Tom Cruise is Lee Child's 'Jack Reacher' - trailer

The first trailer for Jack Reacher has been released.The movie sees Tom Cruise take on the eponymous action hero from Lee Child's series of novels. Paramount Pictures unveiled the first official trailer to mark Cruise's 50th birthday.
Based on Child's One Shot, the film was retitled to simply Jack Reacher in late May.
The story follows an ex-Army officer who becomes entangled in a mystery connected to the arrest of a sniper accused of killing five people.
Cruise recently split from Katie Holmes, his wife of five years.
The two reportedly clashed over Cruise's ties to the Church of Scientology.
It's not so much his look, its the way he acts that puts me off him in this role - he's a story teller/extrovert which doesn't really work for me as Reacher doesn't really talk much and the trailer has him driving which rarely happens in the books

Which they'd stop casting this git in adaptations of books etc that I like. It puts me right off the idea of seeing the movie!

Bad casting! Jack Reacher is supposed to be about 6 foot 5 inches tall.
