'Thor' still

"I will try to combine Thor 2 which starts in August and goes to the end of December with the new Lars Von Trier film," he said.

Skarsgård played Dr Erik Selvig in the original Thor, a role he reprised for The Avengers. The character serves as a mentor to Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who will have an extensive role in the sequel.

Kat Dennings has remained tight-lipped about the possibility of reprising her Thor role of Darcy Lewis in the Alan Taylor-directed follow-up.

Thor 2 is scheduled for release on November 15, 2013.
