A new red band trailer and TV spot for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming film Magic Mike have been released.
Channing Tatum stars as veteran stripper Magic Mike, who shows a novice (Alex Pettyfer) the ropes of the profession.
Both leads feature prominently in the trailer alongside Matthew McConaughey, playing a former stripper who now owns the club - Xquisite - at which Tatum and Pettyfer work.
McConaughey commented recently that the role had forced him to get into shape.
Speaking about his real experiences as a male stripper, Tatum confessed that he hated the profession, saying: "You are on a stage with people yelling at you and you feel like you're a rock star, but you're nothing.
"You're just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit."
Magic Mike opens in the US on June 29, and hits UK cinemas on July 11.

They have both. Once you watch the movie instead of a trailer you will find that out.

Talk about a lack of diversity. No male performers from other racial groups could be hired? Lame.

Which racial group is not in the cast that you would like to see cast? Your statement seems to insinuate that only caucasians were cast in this movie. Is my assumption correct? If so I recommend you actually watch the whole movie instead of a 2 minute trailer of selected clips before making an uneducated statement. If you don't want to see the movie then you can still do the very simple task of looking at the list of the entire cast. It's ironic that you call out a movie as being racist when in fact it is you and your comment that is actually racist. Do you just look at everything you possibly can in an effort to try and create racist accusations? Stop your hate and bias.

...ok... so maybe I'm missing something.... but what is remotely Red Band / NSFW about those trailers?
June 14th 2012 at 12:52pm
Are you serious? Do you know what a red band trailer is? So you believe this should be a green band and acceptable for all audiences? Even a 5 year old little girl? You saw no sexual imagery or sexual language? To me men stripping, dancing in g-strings, and Channing's naked a** seems sexual in nature. In no way am I complaining about the trailers or Channing's exceptional backside, I just wonder what you consider sexual imagery. Maybe you are just looking for a little attention in which case it worked because I responded.
