'The Avengers' coming to DVD, Blu-ray in September

The Avengers has been given a DVD and Blu-ray release date in the UK.Joss Whedon's blockbuster will be available to purchase in the territory on September 17, Marvel Studios has announced.
Various editions of the movie have been confirmed for home formats - single disc DVD or Blu-ray, 3D and 2D Blu-ray combo, and box sets in both formats that bundle the film in with the previous Marvel offerings.
The box sets include The Avengers, Iron Man and its sequel, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk.
All versions will include an array of bonus material, including deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and the 90-minute documentary Building a Dream: Assembling the Avengers.
The Avengers was released in UK cinemas under the title Marvel Avengers Assemble in April.
