The news follows reports that Warner is pushing forward with a Justice League movie, having hired Gangster Squad screenwriter Will Beall to pen a script for the project.
A Wonder Woman film could also be greenlit in the future, with Green Lantern screenwriter Michael Goldenberg attached.
Goldenberg's Green Lantern collaborators Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim reportedly turned in the screenplay for a sequel to the Reynolds-fronted film, but it is yet to be confirmed whether the story will ever see the light of day.
Warner is also said to be planning movies based on DC's Aquaman, The Flash and Suicide Squad.

A reboot would pretty stupid. yeah the movie wasn't amazing, but it was solid and can definitely be further worked with. Reynolds was alright, but the number one reason it should get a sequel is because of Mark Strong's Sinestro. He was awesome! I so want to see him turn evil and battle it out with Hal!

He was an awful Green Lantern in regards actually playing the character to source material. DC have the advantage of their characters been much more widely known the Marvel ones, so they could go straight to JLA, but they wont pull it off anywhere near as well as Marvel as they are clearly playing catch up and that never works out

I don't know how you get that, Marvel is head and shoulders above DC when it comes to character awareness.

Yeah cause nobody has ever heard of Batman, Wonderwoman, Superman and their likes.
Spiderman aside hardly any of the other Marvel heroes were known outside the comic store and the reason people know them now is because of the movies.

No reboot. Keep him on for the JL movie, he'll work well. Then give him a better, Sinestro-villain-based GL2.
