I watched the The Avengers and it was FREAKING AWESOME! I like them all but the Hulk/Bruce Banner STANDOUT among the rest. Mark Ruffalo did an AMAZING job and he gave JUSTICE to Hulk/Bruce Banner compared to the other 2 Hulk movies. Marvel and Disney made an EXCELLENT decision for giving the role to Mark Ruffalo. We NEED a new Hulk movie of Mark Ruffalo! WE NEED MORE!

Bruce Banner was the worst bit in it. They made a total joke out of the character.
- Hey Hulk have you ever tried not being angry?
- Oh my god, I never thought of that. Look I am now perfectly capable to control myself, thx for the tip.

I can see Dark Knight Rises uprooting Cameron's double-act at the top of the list.

I'd love to see Avengers top of the heap, but know it'll never get close to Avatar. The simple reasons being that Avatar came out at a time of year when there was no real competition up against it (especially on 3d screens) for a considerable time, whereas Avengers has to deal with a number of summer blockbusters, all of which will eat up screens. Also, as much as word of mouth and hype were phenomenal for Avengers, Avatar drew millions of folk to the cinema who wouldn't normally see a movie at the flicks because it was marketed as a quantum leap in the movie-going experience that had to be seen on the big screen to be believed. I'd love to see Avengers top of the pile but without a few directors' cut re-releases etc, it'll have to settle for third, or possibly second.

I actually love Avengers and Avatar both, I thought both were excellent and saw both multiple times.
I think Avengers might manage to beat Titanic, but another 1.5 billion or so is a huge amount and it's been out a while now; it's starting to slip down the box office charts.
