Constantin Film recently acquired the rights to distribute the horror movie in Germany, and broke the news in their write-up of it, Cinema Blend reports.
Natura contro is an Italian film that belongs to the cannibal-horror subgenre, in which a group of aid workers survive a plan crash in the Peruvian jungle only to fall victim to flesh-eating natives.
The film is also known as Cannibal Holocaust II, though this name was merely a marketing ploy as it bears no relation to Ruggero's Deodato's original Cannibal Holocaust.
Green Inferno marks Roth's return to directing horror following recent work as a producer, writer and actor. He co-wrote the screenplay with Guillermo Amoedo, based on his own original story.
Production on The Green Inferno begins this autumn in Peru and Chile.
