Robert Pattinson has revealed that he refused to go nude in the upcoming drama Cosmopolis. The 26-year-old actor stars in David Cronenberg's latest movie, based on the novel by Don Delillo.

In the film, Pattinson plays businessman Eric Packer as he embarks on a violent, Odyssey-like trip through Manhattan in a stretch limo.
The film also stars Juliette Binoche, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton and Paul Giamatti.
People reports that in an interview with French magazine Metro France Pattinson admitted that there was one scene he was unable to do in the sexually-graphic film.
He recounts, "Five minutes before we filmed, David told me, 'I want to see the bottom of your balls on the top of the frame'. At the moment, I reminded myself that I would do anything for him. So I went back to see him and told him that wouldn't happen."
The filmmaker, known for experimental movies like Crash, The Fly and Scanner, was apparently fine with the actor's decision.
"He took it really well," Pattinson added. "At the start, it's a very bizarre scene that you won't see again in another movie, I promise."
Cosmopolis premiered earlier this week at the Cannes Film Festival to a standing ovation.
It is due for release on June 15 in the UK.
