Elijah Wood's 'Maniac' gets gory new trailer - watch

Maniac has released a gory new trailer.

The film stars Elijah Wood as Frank, a mannequin store owner who stalks women through the internet before murdering them.

Watch the trailer below (warning - the video contains violence and nudity):



The footage shows Wood's serial killer character chasing, attacking and killing women in between attending to his mannequins.

The movie is being directed by Franck Khalfoun, and is a remake of the '80s slasher film that featured Joe Spinell and Caroline Munro.

A release date for Maniac is yet to be confirmed.
