Andrew Garfield has hinted that he would like to appear in the Avengers sequel.Garfield - who stars in the upcoming Marvel film The Amazing Spider-Man - told Vulture that he was very impressed by director Joss Whedon's superhero epic.

"I saw it, and I was blown away. And I'm going to see it again this weekend," the actor said, adding humorously: "I have no problem adding to the amount of money it's making!"
Garfield went on to say he'd love to see Spider-Man share the screen with Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth).
"Joss Whedon is a genius, and it's an incredible cast. I was very, very jealous, and I wanted to jump on the screen and play with them," the star admitted. "It killed me that I wasn't in it, but I understand why, and I'm not insulted. But hey, if Samuel L Jackson wants to give me a shout, I'm there for the next one."

Disney announced earlier this month that a follow-up to the record-breaking The Avengers is already in development, although a release date has not yet been confirmed.
Director Whedon has revealed that he is "torn" over whether to helm The Avengers 2 because the comic book adaptation is "somebody else's story".
The Avengers is now playing in cinemas worldwide.

Well it should be time that these big companys work together and forget about property rights and crap like that and just give the fans what they want, they will all make money out of it.

Spidey's teamed up enough with the Avengers in the strips for it to work ... but suspect that licensing issues would prevent it.

Actually, Marvel is owned by Disney, so both the Avengers and Spider-Man are owned by Disney.
You're thinking of the rights to Spider-Man movies and shows are owned by Sony, while Avengers shows and movies are Marvel.
