However, Scott wrote in The New York Times that the film's "failures are significant and dispiriting".
Jackson yesterday (May 3) tweeted in response: "#Avengers fans,NY Times critic AO Scott needs a new job! Let's help him find one! One he can ACTUALLY do!"
Another user later tweeted: "Disappointed to hear @SamuelLJackson respond irrationally to negative review of #Avengers. People aren't entitled to their own opinion? :("
Jackson replied: "That is My Opinion! @TheFilmNest & what's irrational about it? They aren't going to fire his jaundiced ass & You & I Know It!"

I would love to express my opinion on the movie but after reading the other comments, I fear it may result in a bashing!

Christopher Walker definitely. that actor was spot on for Bruce and the hulk. He had the comic book look of hulk with the whole wide jaw and all...that i missed in the other movies

Agneis Quinn Nothing but the look was not original. It was directed by the same guy who directed Angel, after all. And the actor looked about 12, not fearsome enough but that's perhaps because I like darker films. Btw, I am not familiar with the comics or the heroes own individual movies so I only just found out that the bad guy was the villain in Thor. I saw the film again last night and my view still stands. Good film but would not buy it.

Lee Skavydis What's wrong with looking like a trench coat Goth?? I suspect if you're a Norse god, you can pretty much look like whatever you want!
