'The Dark Knight Rises' trailer: Scene-by-scene recap

A viral scavenger hunt led to the online unveiling of the new Dark Knight Rises trailer today (May 1), and the promo already has fans speculating as to what's in store for Christian Bale's final Batman outing.The new trailer offers up plenty of storyline clues, with an AWOL Bruce Wayne seemingly coming back to save Gotham when Bane (Tom Hardy) brings chaos to the city. Comic book fans will know that Bane breaks Batman's back in the Knightfall arc, and that looks like it'll be carried through to the movie.
There's also a look at Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, the new Batwing and strong hints that Bruce Wayne - shock horror - may not make it out of the film alive.

Wowza indeed. It looks expansive and action-packed, but stylish and balanced, like the other two, of which are two of my favourite films. My eagerness, if possible, to see the final isntalment has been increased.
