Kristin Davis: 'Sex and the City 3 could still happen'

Kristin Davis has revealed that a third Sex and the City film could still be produced.

Sarah Jessica Parker downplayed the possibility of Sex and the City 3 last summer when she said there was "no discussion currently" of another reunion. Kim Cattrall echoed Parkers's comments, when she recently commented that she's heard "very little" about the proposed movie.

Davis appeared on Good Morning America to promote her new television movie Of Two Minds and said she's much more optimistic about the future of Sex and the City.



"I would love to do [another film]. I think we would all love to do it," the actress declared. "Maybe it will happen."

Davis added that she's learned over the years to never completely write off a return to Sex and the City.

"We've really never known what would happen in our journey with Sex and the City. We always think it's over and then it's not," she explained. "Whenever we see each other we always talk about it socially."

The Sex and the City franchise will possibly continue on television as The CW has ordered a pilot based on author Candace Bushnell's prequel The Carrie Diaries.

AnnaSophia Robb will play the young Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries. Former Doctor Who star Freema Agyeman has also joined the pilot as party girl Larissa.
