George Clooney: 'I didn't know they'd give Batman nipples'

has said he did not know at first that his infamous Batman outfit would have moulded nipples.
The actor, who played the superhero in Joel Schumacher's critically derided 1997 sequel Batman & Robin
, told Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio
that the role "did not go well".

"They put nipples on the batsuit. I didn't know they would do that," he said.
Clooney added: "If Batman had to wear the suit that you have to wear, everyone would die.
"You're laying on a board like this and you can't move and they just prop you up and you're like, 'I'm Batman'."

Clooney has previously said that Batman & Robin
"was really s**t and I was really bad in it", while also insisting that he had no regrets
about accepting the role.
He later welcomed the darker reboot of the series
with Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins

about the film and feared that the flop role could have ended
