Kevin Bacon regrets use of 'Footloose' stunt double

has said that he regrets the use of a stunt double in the original Footloose
The X-Men: First Class
star confessed that he was frustrated by the fact that he was not allowed to perform all of his own stunts in the 1984 film.
"Are you kidding? I was furious," Bacon told People
. "It's like a starting
pitcher getting taken out of a game - no one wants to be told they can't get
the guy out."
He continued: "I had a stunt double, a
dance double and two gymnastics doubles. There were five of
us in the f**king outfit, and I felt horrible."
Kenny Wormald, star of the new remake of Footloose
, recently revealed that he was bullied as a youngster
for his love of dancing.
In July, Bacon joined the cast of R.I.P.D.
. He will play the villain in the supernatural film. R.I.P.D.
is scheduled to open in cinemas on June 28, 2013.
