Ang Lee: 'Son's Hangover performance quite good'

has opened up about his son's role in The Hangover Part II
The Oscar-winning director stated that he was proud of his son Mason's performance as Teddy, the young prodigy who vanishes in The Hangover Part II
, according to Apple Daily
"My son's performance was quite good," Lee told reporters outside Taipei theater. "He is quite a serious actor but this is just a comedy."
The reporters then asked Lee if his son Mason will be a future Oscar contender.
"He only has a small role in the movie," Lee answered.
The 56-year-old has directed a number of critically-acclaimed films, including Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
and Brokeback Mountain
. He is currently at work on the big-screen adaptation of The Life of Pi
In December, it was reported that Lee had cast Indian star Tabu in the adaptation of Yann Martel's novel
, selecting the actress to portray Pi's mother in the film. The Life of Pi
