Rob Corddry joins 'Rapturepalooza'?

Robert Corddry has signed up to the cast of post-apocalyptic comedy Rapturepalooza.

The actor will team up with Hot Tub Time Machine co-star Craig Robinson, Thomas Lennon and Anna Kendrick for the low-budget feature, Variety reports.

Rapturepalooza will see Corddry playing a bodyguard to Robinson's devil and facing a conflict of interest as his own son (John Daley) attempts to assassinate his client following a religious apocalypse.

Bill and Ted writer Chris Matheson will be penning the script, with the production budget set at $2 million (£1.2 million).

Corddry was last seen in Miguel Arteta's comedy Cedar Rapids and is preparing for the lead role in forthcoming Fox comedy Little in Common.
