Joseph Gordon-Levitt tumbled through spinning corridors for Christopher Nolan on Inception, and now the actor is back with the Brit filmmaker to play determined cop John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises.Digital Spy sat down with Gordon-Levitt to discuss growing up as a Batman fan, how Nolan has humanised the DC hero and why he doesn't think there's a big need for him to return to the franchise.
On reteaming with Nolan, Gordon-Levitt said: "I would do anything for Chris, anything he asked me to do, but especially to be in a Batman movie.

"His movies really turned Bruce Wayne into a fully-rendered human being. They're Batman movies for sure but they're dignified dramas underneath that, and I think audiences can feel that level of sophistication and appreciate it."
The 31-year-old added that he thinks The Dark Knight Rises offers up a satisfactory end point to this particular Batman story.
"I just love that this movie has such a great ending," he said. "They make a lot of sequels, they call them trilogies sometimes. They're usually not really a trilogy they're just another sequel. This trilogy is one - it has a beginning, a middle and this is a very satisfying end."
The Dark Knight Rises is showing in cinemas now.

Bleh, the film was okay but the way they left it wasn't really a 'satisfactory ending' especially if JGL turns out to be a new Batman. He should be Robin, Nightwing tops so the next film could be a Nightwing film which would be pretty cool as that hasn't been done before. Personally I'd rather see a Batman Beyond movie.
