National Kissing Day: The greatest ever movie kisses - video
Published Jul 6 2012, 08:00 BST | By Mayer Nissim

To celebrate National Kissing Day, we've rounded up our personal top six kisses from the movies.
Fabulous scenes from Titanic, Lost In Translation and multiple-kiss-award winners Twilight failed to make the cut, but the competition was tough! Here are our favourite film snogs:
Spider-Man: Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire
"Do I get to say thank you this time?"
The Notebook: Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
"I wrote you every day for a year... It wasn't over. It still isn't over!"
Brokeback Mountain: Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal
"Jack f**king Twist."
The Godfather: Part II: Al Pacino and John Cazale
"I know it was you Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart."
Lady and the Tramp: Lady and... The Tramp
"The night will weave its magic spell when the one you love is near..."
Casablanca: Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman
"Kiss me... kiss me as if it were the last time."

The goodbye kiss at the end of The Bodyguard! So heartbreaking yet subtle because he simply moves onto his next assignment. Not your typical "he dies" ending which I loved because they could have gone down that route. And need I mention Whitney Houston singing I Will Always Love You over the whole scene? Breathtaking.
