The Anchorman star releases Casa de mi Padre - his homage to Spanish-language telenovelas - in the UK this week (June 8), and with an uproarious bottom-slapping love scene, we're delighted to report that Ferrell has lost none of his funny.
Digital Spy pulls together 10 hilarious Will Ferrell movie clips for your viewing pleasure below.
WARNING: Contains desk popping, teabagging, ovary punching, strong language and more!
"I'm going to punch you in the ovaries."
Anchorman's Ron Burgundy saw his romance with Veronica Corningstone quickly curtailed when the Channel 4 newbie was made his co-anchor. The pair's verbal sparring - over the end credits of a news broadcast - is a masterclass in improvisational comedy and stinging comic put-downs.
"We're going streaking!"
As Old School's Frank 'The Tank' Ricard, Ferrell bared all to interrupt a Snoop Dogg performance and go on a solo streak across campus. Frank's leap through a ring of fire later in the movie also had us in stitches.
"We're going to skate to one song and one song only."
Washed up champion skater. Sex addict. Black Eyed Peas fan. Blades of Glory's Chazz Michael Michaels has a clear idea about which song he needs to "get the people going" when he takes to the ice with partner Jimmy MacElroy.
Elf's Jack in the Box
Product testing Jack in the Boxes is not the ideal job for Ferrell's easily-startled Elf character Buddy.
"Brick, where'd you get a hand grenade?"
Let's face it, there's enough comedy gold in Anchorman to fill this entire list (*ahem*), but the comedy's signature scene has to be this huge-scale fight scene.
"Let me see your belly button."
Ferrell steals the movie from under the nose of Starsky & Hutch co-stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as dragon-loving coke dealer Big Earl. We're not going to lie, this scene gets weird...
"Your name is liar, because you're telling lies!"
Never get between a man and his coffee, particularly if he happens to be Ferrell's kids soccer coach Phil Weston from Kicking & Screaming. Unfortunately for Ferrell, he hadn't counted on Alex Borstein (Lois from Family Guy) possessing such a devastating choke hold!
"I am so paralysed!"
In a bid to convince his pals he's paralysed from the waist down, Ferrell's Talladega Nights NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby plunges a blade into his left leg. As if that wasn't funny enough, watch Michael Clarke Duncan's attempt to extricate the knife... with another knife! "Cut around the meat."
"I wanna put my nutsack on your drum set!"
As Step Brothers's middle-aged drop-outs, Ferrell and John C Reilly frequently found themselves at war when their parents get married. An expensive drum set provides the catalyst for this epic punch-up in Adam McKay's 2008 comedy.
"Hey, Terry, I did my first desk pop."
The Other Guys's straight-laced cop Allen Gamble has never charged his weapon in the office. Witness his first and last ever "desk pop" below.

I'm not a massive fan, but he stole The Producers from under the nose of Nathan Lane with his turn as the mad nazi........"Adolf Elizabeth Hitler", which creases me up every time I watch it.

Never really found the guy hugely funny. I like some of his films, but not really for him.

In Wedding Crashers I loved the bit where he goes "ma the meatloaf!!" then out of shot you hear him shout "f**k!!", haha. He's always annoyed me, which is weird as I love the likes of Jim Carrey, but he has grown on me slightly.
