2011 has been the most prolific year for costumed do-gooders: The Green Hornet, Thor, X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern and Captain America have all set box office tills ker-chinging.
With The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel on the horizon, we want to know which superhero movie you think is the best of all time.

They still have 'Super' Powers though. Batman has **** all. i still love him though :P

I know it isn't a live action movie its animated I go for Batman mask of the phantasm/ Return of the Joker Mark Hamill's performance as the Joker is amazing! otherwise Batman (1989) gets my vote.

well thats just your opinion of what makes a great superhero film. I understand that opinion with Spiderman 2 because the character lends itself to that kind of movie, whereas Batman has traditionally been a much more darker character. If anything Chris Nolan is staying true to the characters origins, and in the process made one hell of a movie that transcends superheroes movies.

And this is why certain part of me is very sceptical as to Nolan's version of Man Of Steel. Superman needs the lightness, and it shouldn't be a realistic and gritty. He's a flying alien wearing tights and pants...
