"It's been awesome. Thanks to the team who've been great, and the listeners who are more than just people that listen to the show."
Moyles, who hosted his final breakfast show on September 14, was replaced by Nick Grimshaw.
Grimshaw has received the backing of a number of his Radio 1 colleagues, such as Zane Lowe, Greg James and Scott Mills.

Dombo,he will struggle. He had the radio 1 emblam behind him. Over the next ten years he wont have any big insstitution behind him. Look at ex radio one breakfast hosts. Even in the days of huge personalities many didnt go on to be anything. Moyles is ugly, fat, charmless and has the warmth of a rattlesnake. You can hope all you like, but every quiz show he has tried has failed. Glad hes made some money because he can buy a big house in Leeds and live his life there again.

Nonsense.... Moyles signed with James Grant (agent) literally just before he left R1!
To clarify who James Grant is, he is an agent.... think of him as Uk's answer to Ari Gold, and on his books he has such nomarks as Ant and Dec, Davina, Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and others.
You don't need an emblem, you just need a good agent!
If what you say is true about his attributes, then you are calling Lord Webber a poor judge of character... hmm good luck with that assumption

@Jim, because you don't like him doesn't mean everyone doesn't like him. Even if he doesn't make it big on the telly, he could still do a radio show.

Who cares is he is overweight? Being overweight has not stopped him from becoming successful! Image isn't everything!

"Lies, damned lies, and statistics" ;)
Over 4 times as many people listened to the final Chris Moyles show than listened to the first Grimshaw show on the iPlayer.

It is so boringly easy to regurgitate these figures. Chris Moyles had the show for the longest time, of course the figures are going to go up and down. I do not believe that "talentless and dumb" Grimshaw is going to be doing it better or for even half as long tbh..
