Both games will be enhanced with updated for HD displays and include online multiplayer with eight player lobbies, a spectator mode, additional challenges to complete and the ability to save replays of your matches.
Marvel Super Heroes originally released in arcades in 1995, featuring a range of classic Marvel heroes and villains in one-on-one battles. Players could also collect Infinity Gems while playing, which would enhance fighters with new abilities.
Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes combined characters from both companies in two-on-two tag team battles. It also introduced duo team attacks using both characters, which became a staple of the series in its sequels.
The port is being handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, which previously brought Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition to XBLA and PSN.
Capcom released Marvel vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes as a downloadable title in 2009, and more recently brought it to iOS devices earlier this year.
Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds was released for current generation consoles late last year, followed by Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
Marvel vs Capcom Origins will be available this September on XBLA and PSN for $14.99 (£11.99).

Since MvC2 was such a watered down version of the franchise (controls and moves-wise) I for one am very excited about this!
