'Final Fantasy' concert Distant Worlds coming to Edinburgh

Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy will play its first date in Scotland in November.The concert will be held at the Edinburgh Playhouse, with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra accompanying conductor Arnie Roth.

Distant Worlds features music from throughout the Square Enix series, accompanied by HD stills and video footage from the games. Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu will be in attendance for the Edinburgh show.
The concert will also visit the Royal Albert Hall in London during the same tour, following a successful gig there last year.
The Distant Worlds concert tour began in 2007 and has visited music venues around the world. Several CDs and DVDs have been released to support the venture.
Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy will also feature dates in the US, Canada, Australia and France during its 2012 - 2013 schedule.

i prefer nobuo uematsu/the black mages, if i was free on the edinburgh night id go but a friend and myself have tickets to see nightwish instead in mancs
im not a fan of the newer final fanstasy music tbh

nobu was there with them when i went last year. and it's all his music anyway. sadly odds of seeing the mages are slim unless they get back together
