'Left 4 Dead 2' DLC Cold Steam release date announced
Published Jul 1 2012, 10:55 BST | By Mark Langshaw

The expansion will include a new community made map titled Cold Stream, as well as ports of the original Left 4 Dead campaigns Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, Death Toll and No Mercy.
Valve also revealed that the add-on will include "surprises and details", though full details of the additional content are yet to be disclosed.
"With the update going out at the same time, all of the mutations will be available at all times," said the studio in a blog post.
"This will allow players to choose to match into games playing Taannkk!, Gib Fest, or even a user created mutation like Confogl."
Left 4 Dead 2's 'Cold Steam' pack will be available for Mac, PC and Xbox 360 on July 24.

Happy that Valve are still supporting this game. Really good on them.

Really hoping they don't make this too expensive. Nobody tends to play the add-on packs in multiplayer matches and this is just a bunch of old, rehashed L4D1 content, bar from Cold Stream which I think was a community created map (correct me if I'm wrong) and has been in existence for a long, long, long time? I prefer the L4D1 maps over 2 (they have more atmosphere) but like I mentioned, nobody seems to play them at all so what would be the point?
