Watch Dogs will be released for PC and consoles in 2013, Ubisoft has confirmed. The game's twitter feed also revealed that the E3 demo was running on the PC engine.

The open-world action title, which was unveiled during Ubisoft's E3 press conference, sees players take control of a hacker named Aiden Pearce, who has an entire city's surveillance system at his disposal.
Watch Dogs takes place from the third-person perspective, combining all-out action segments with hacking mechanics.
Pearce can tap into people's electronic devices to gather intel on them, and infiltrate security systems vital to the city.
An E3 demonstration showed the protagonist bringing traffic to a standstill with his computing skills, and gaining entry to an art museum by jamming phones.
It was one of the standout titles from this year's E3 Gaming Expo, attracting universal praise and one of the biggest cheers of the event.

The fact they say "consoles" and not "PS3 and Xbox360" says a lot. There might be PS3 and Xbox versions, but there will probably be PS4 and Xbox 720 versions as well.

I think it means more Wii U support since Ubisoft is one of the stand out supporters on the new Nintendo console.

Wish I had the PC they shot that demo on, must be a serious piece of kit to knock out stunning graphics like that :D

Also to be fair, a LOT of games that have been coming out recently are all what I call "1-years", games made by companies such as Activision that won't publish games unless they have a potential for a yearly release, or are otherwise made in a short period of time in which graphics (and bugs.. and glitches... etc.) are not a priority, so such things are simply overlooked.

Christopher, have you not seen games such as L.A Noir? Red Dead Redemption? Max Payne? Even Batman: Arkham City? I realize those are mostly Rockstar titles, but those games all look amazing, and they really show how far the consoles can be pushed graphics-wise. I'm expectant that GTA:V with the new and improved Rage engine will, whenever that comes out, once again show, even more so, how far the limits can be pushed.

Yeah, but Watch Dogs carries off a lot of little things if u watch it...the smoothness of all movement without out any sign of blockiness, the water detail, the natural movement of cut scene to play, the amount of a.i. on the street and the bar, the radiant a.i. from the gun shoot out, the way the character holds on to his hat when the wind is kicked up from helicopter blades...there is no game or current mainstream oc that can handle how busy, fluid, and clean this game is...watch The Last of Us and watch Watch Dogs..while I like Last of us, you can see a BIG difference in current gen and next gen graphics...there is no way the version of Watch Dogs shown in the demo is the actually version under current hardware specs...that's the point

There is no way the current consoles can handle this game and if they can, then the question is "Why haven't games been this good on the ps3 and xbox 360". The amount of detail and smoothness to the CGI can not be done with current generation systems unless the game will not look this good on consoles.
