E3 2012: 'Star Wars 1313' gameplay footage surfaces

gameplay footage has been shown off at E3 2012.
Stunning in-game action was demonstrated by LucasArts
on Spike TV
, ahead of its E3 showing later this week.
Taking place across Level 1313 on Coruscant, the demonstration showcased a combination of platform and third-person shooter gameplay.
The quality of the footage has led to speculation that the game is running on next-generation hardware.Teased last week
, players will control a deadly bounty hunter as he uses human skills and powerful weaponry and gadgets, rather than the Force, to hunt down targets.
It is said to take place in a "never-before-seen dark and mature world", and will bring the dangerous Coruscant underworld to life.
Developed internally at LucasArts, the project will introduce an integrated approach to development by incorporating Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd and Skywalker Sound.
More details for the project, including release platforms, will be revealed in the coming months.
Microsoft released Xbox 360 exclusive Kinect Star Wars
earlier this year.
