Michael Inglis, the creator of a popular 'LEGO Zelda' YouTube video, launched the campaign to make the toys a reality.
Nintendo is yet to comment on the possibility of licensing out the property, but it is not considered likely that it will sanction the move.
Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars are among the properties to have received the LEGO treatment for video games.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, DS, 3DS and Vita this summer.

The Atricle has been edited since I posted. Before it didnt have the word 'Set' in it and heavily implied that a LEGO game was being considered for Development.
Look down at the other comments Paul R Davies says 'that would be awesome - 2 great franchises in one game!' That was posted before I made my First Post and then the Article was changed accordingly

So um what is your point? That all of the LEGO franchises they listed (Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars ) have all been converted into LEGO games, yes? Well they ALL have had official LEGO sets, not just the console games. The only LEGO game franchise I've not seen as a LEGO set is Batman, but It may it exist.
Anyway, LEGO are embracing a lot of popular franchises for both LEGO sets & games.
Lord of the Rings is incoming :)
And yeah, any others would be welcome. I know my son would love a Link LEGO figure!

They used the wrong Lego picture, that's from a YouTube clip of films re-enacted in Lego.
