Mortal Kombat Vita launch trailer displays touch controls, mini-games

Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation Vita has been given a launch trailer by Warner Bros Interactive.The launch video showcases the new touchscreen moves and mini-games, as well as the Vita bonus content.
Highlights include slicing limbs with the touchscreen, a Fruit Ninja-inspired mini-game and wiping blood from the screen to gain a clear view of the action.
The Vita port includes all content from the game's console release last year, such as PlayStation exclusive character Kratos from God of War and add-on characters Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and Freddy Krueger.
It also contains all of the classic character skins and Vita-specific content, such as touch-screen fatalities and 150 new challenge tower missions.
Mortal Kombat will release on PlayStation Vita today (May 1) in North America and May 4 in Europe.
