Rayman Origins for Wii U has been confirmed through a leaked trailer. The video reveals how Near Field Technology works for Nintendo's new console, allowing toys and figures to interact with the touch-screen controller.
It shows both a heart and a Raving Rabbid figurine placed on the device, creating themed stages around both toys.
The trailer ends by showing a player reaching for an Ezio figure, one of the main characters from Assassin's Creed.
It also confirms the existence of the heavily rumoured sequel to Rayman Origins, offering new settings with castles and dragons, and new playable characters including a female viking.

Well the Wii U is being received really well by the developers working on it... not only is Ubisoft loving it, but companies like EA and SEGA are working hard on it too. The people at Gearbox have also referred to the console as "very sexy", and that "the Wii U has so much more to offer. No other platform can do what the Wii U can do".
