EVE Online's 'Inferno' expansion will be released in May.CCP Games confirmed the launch date during a keynote at EVE Fanfest 2012, where it also announced plans to roll out a precursor patch in April.
'Inferno' is being billed as a PvP-focused expansion for the MMO. Its content includes a revamped wardec system, new ships, additional modules, and an improved mercenary marketplace.

CCP also announced that UK customers will be able to purchase a subscription for £10 a month from May 1, paying in pounds sterling rather than Euros, as before.
"UK players have been an important part of the Eve community from the very beginning, organising some of the very first player meets, being at the forefront of Eve's PvP alliances and expanding the Eve experience with such creations as the epic Clear Skies movies," CCP said.
"The enthusiasm and creativity of these players has only underlined the importance of the UK market as we enter a very exciting time for the Eve universe."
CCP's last major EVE Online expansion came in the shape of 'Crucible' in November last year. The update took the game "back to basics" following the introduction of extensive changes that proved unpopular with the game's community.
EVE Online's precursor update will be rolled out on April 24, followed by 'Inferno' on May 22.

cracking game, still playing it 8 years later...and Crucible was one of the best updates to date. Now of they would just fix/update things for us Industrialist players, I'd be even happier.
