Microsoft hiring for a "major" new quadruple-A Xbox title

Microsoft Game Studios is hiring staff for a "major" new quadruple-A Xbox title.

A new job listing posted on Microsoft's careers site requests a seasoned executive producer to deliver the "end-to-end AAAA title experience".

"Microsoft Studios (Xbox) is looking for a dynamic and seasoned executive producer to lead and develop a world-class team who will own the creation and delivery of a AAAA experience that delivers on first party goals and, more importantly, creates a fun gaming experience for our audience," reads the job listing.

"The EP will have P&L responsibility for a major Xbox AAAA console title and deliver the end-to-end AAAA title experience (Concept, Prototype, Greenlight, Pre-Production, Production, Release, ongoing revenue streams and a complete franchise plan)."

The nature of the project is not yet known, but it has been speculated that the title will be for the next Xbox.

Microsoft's as yet unannounced console will feature a touchscreen controller similar in function to the Wii U, it has been suggested.

Other reports suggest that the next Xbox will launch in two different editions.

One edition, Codenamed "Loop", will be cheaper and focus on Kinect.
