Bioware has announced new details about Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode.
In an interview on the Bioware blog, Mass Effect 3 producer Jesse Houston talked about the game's co-operative multiplayer features.
Houston revealed that choices made in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 will not impact the overall galactic readiness level in Mass Effect 3, but they will have an effect on the Galaxy at War multiplayer mode. No examples were given however as to what sorts of effects players can expect.
Houston also revealed that there will be additional playable races that "you may not expect" in addition to the already revealed Krogan, Turian, Asari, Drell, Quarian and Salarian. New characters and races will also be made available through downloadable content after the game's release.
