Namco profits rise thanks to 3DS

has seen a rise in quarterly profits, led by high 3DS game sales.
The publisher reports profits of £283.4 million ($465.4 million) for its latest fiscal quarter, an 8.1% increase over last year.
The top-selling games for that quarter were all Nintendo 3DS titles, with first place belonging to the Japan-exclusive One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP
, selling 170,000 copies. Tales of the Abyss
, which is already available in Japan and will release in Europe and North America this November
, sold 150,000 copies, while Ride Racer 3D
came in third with 90,000 sold in the US.
